Former packaging co. manager buys in Ahwatukee Foothills

Scott and Terri Westley bought a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 1425 E. Desert Broom Way in Ahwatukee Foothills from Gregory and Jeanne Bandy for $585,000 on April 7.

The 3,835-square-foot home in Foothills was built in 1993.

Mr. Westley most recently served as a sales manager at Propak, a Tempe-based provider of packaging and industrial supplies. Prior to that, he was general manager at ISS Facility Services. He previously was an assistant director of field operations for the City of Glendale.

Earlier on, he was department chair and professor of military science at Marquette University. He also served the U.S. Army as a battalion logistics officer, operations officer, recruiting battalion commander and regional director. He attended The College of New Jersey, Webster University and the Air Command and Staff College.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 739 home sales in Ahwatukee Foothills during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $210,000.
